The Leader
The first Black realtor and broker in Montana. A Marine Corps veteran. A founder. A coach. And an agent still actively in the business. The resume is real. The mentorship is, too.
The Story
Damian Forrester spent 8 years in the United States Marine Corps before stepping into real estate. That background — discipline, mission clarity, leading under pressure, taking care of the people around you — didn't leave when the uniform did. It became the foundation everything else was built on.
Entering Montana's real estate market, Damian did what few had done before him. He became the first Black realtor and broker in the state — not as a statement, but as a consequence of being excellent in a place where that path hadn't been walked yet.
Over the next two decades, Damian moved through Century 21, Keller Williams, and eventually eXp Realty — not chasing the next shiny thing, but constantly evaluating which model best served his clients and his agents. eXp won that evaluation decisively.
He didn't just join eXp — he founded eXp Realty Montana. He built it from the ground up into the state's largest eXp brokerage. Then he built Forrester Group on top of it — a team with structure, culture, and a mentorship layer that most Montana agents had never experienced.
Today, Damian runs multiple business entities simultaneously: Forrester Group Real Estate, Cloudsync (a virtual assistant company), Sacred Grounds Healing and Arts Center, and his role as co-chair and finance lead of the Black eXp Network (B.E.N.). He's also actively mentoring his daughter Brooklyn as she begins her own career in real estate.
The point isn't the resume. The point is that when an agent joins Forrester Group, they're working with someone who's still in the arena — building, coaching, selling, leading, and doing it at a level that gives the mentorship real weight.

When you join Legacy Network under Damian Forrester, you're not entering a nameless brokerage. Damian has a direct relationship with Glenn Sanford — the Founder and Executive Chairman of eXp Realty — and with the leadership that built the company's model from the ground up.
That access flows downward. Your sponsor's credibility, network, and proximity to leadership becomes part of your value stack the moment you join.
"Legacy Network exists because real estate should build generational wealth — not just for your clients, but for you and everyone you bring into this business."
— DAMIAN FORRESTER, Founder · Legacy Network
Leadership Philosophy
Agents here own their business. Damian provides the structure, the coaching, and the direct feedback — not babysitting.
Quick wins matter. But the real work is building revenue share, refining systems, and compounding growth year over year.
The market changes. The tools change. The strategy has to keep up. Agents here don't run the same playbook they used three years ago.
The Ecosystem
FGR agents benefit from being connected to a broader network of businesses, initiatives, and resources.
Montana's largest eXp team. The flagship business where agents close deals, build careers, and grow revenue share income.
A virtual assistant company that gives real estate professionals access to trained VAs — so you can stop doing $15/hour work on a $200/hour schedule.
As co-chair and finance lead, Damian helps steer one of eXp's most active affinity networks — representing and supporting Black agents platform-wide.
Sacred Grounds Healing and Arts Center — a community-rooted venture reflecting Damian's commitment to wellness and culture in Billings.
